Alexander G. Carden M.D.
Dr, Carden's practice includes provision of Primary and Preventive healthcare, Internal Medicine care, Infectious Disease consultative care and Travelers Medical Services.for individuals traveling overseas and returning home with travel related medical issues.
A graduate of Yale College and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, an infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Chicago and served for 2 years in the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia.
He subsequently served as the Medical Director of the Tropical Medicine and Traveler's Clinic at the University of Miami Hospital and as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Miami School of Medicine.
In West Palm Beach he has held positions as Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine, Chief of Staff and served on the Board at St. Mary's Hospital and as Chief of the Department of Infectious Disease and Director of Infection Control at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
During the summer months, he serves as the volunteer Internal Medicine Director for Missions of Mercy bringing primary medical care services to indigent Quechuan Indians in remote areas of rural Ecuador.
In his practice in addition to providing acute Internal Medicine care Dr. Carden emphasizes the importance of up-to-date wellness care including heart healthy plant based dietary guidelines. His Infectious Disease practice includes consultative services for both hospitalized and outpatients. He is double Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is also certified by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Travelers Health.
David Dodson M.D. FACP
Dr. Dodson has practiced Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease in West Palm Beach since 1985. He is a graduate of Cornell and Cornell University Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and his Infectious Disease Fellowship at Yale -New Haven Hospital where he also worked at the Yale Tropical Medicine clinic. Dr. Dodson is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He founded the Travelers Medical Service in West Palm Beach in 1985 and has counseled thousands of travelers over the years. He is certified by Cornell in Plant Based Nutrition.
Dr. Dodson served as Chairman of the Governing Board of Good Samaritan Hospital and has been Chief of Staff at Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and Intracoastal Health System. He has also been affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. His educational activities have included over 200 TV and Radio interviews. He has been recognized as a Best Doctor by Castle Connolly Guide, a Top Doc by Miami Metro magazine and a Top Doctor by South Florida magazine. He has served on the Board of Directors of FoundCare, Palm Healthcare Foundation and Hope House. He is powered by a vegan diet, competes in triathlons and enjoys medical antiques and world travel.
Kleper de Almeida, M.D.
Dr. de Almeida has practiced medicine in Palm Beach County since 2005.
He graduated from Medical school at the Universidade Federal da Bahia, in Brazil. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Infectious Disease Fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School and a research Fellowship at the Laboratory of Clinical Investigation at the NIAID/NIH in Washington. His practice encompasses Internal Medicine, where he provides Primary and Preventive care, Infectious Disease consultative care and Travelers Medical Services for individuals traveling overseas and/or returning home with travel related medical issues.
His academic and clinical experience includes Assistant Clinical Professorships at both Drexel University College of Medicine and at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is the coordinator of the Infectious Disease Rotation for the Internal Medicine Residency program at JFK Medical Center where the medical residents have recognized him as an outstanding educator. He has also been involved in the Internal Medicine Residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center where medical residents chose him as the Attending of the Year in 2014.
Dr. de Almeida is double Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is a member of the medical staff of Good Samaritan Medical Center. At JFK Medical Center, he is Chairman of the Infection Control committee. He is also a board member at the Palm Beach County Medical Society.
